John McCain is in Libya to meet with rebel forces. The Arizona senator arrived in the rebel stronghold of Benghazi Friday. He says he's there to get a ground assessment of the situation.

Senator John Ensign will be handing in his resignation today. The Nevada Republican says an ethics probe following his affair with a former staffer would place further wear and tear on both himself and his family. Ensign insists he's done nothing wrong. The resignation takes effect May 3.

Lindsay Lohan heads to court in Los Angeles today. She'll attend a preliminary hearing in the grand theft case against her. The actress is accused of taking a 2,500 dollar necklace from a Venice, California store.

Christians are marking Good Friday around the world. In Jerusalem, they commemorated the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Jesus by retracing his last steps. The procession ended at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
