讨论话题：人生无常 爱情高于财富（材料选自《第十二夜》）
莎翁用《第十二夜》中的几句话告诉我们，人生无常，爱情也是变幻无常的，尤其是传说中的feeling……
1、The parts that fortune hath bestow'd upon her,（命运所赋予她的一切，）
Tell her, I hold as giddily as fortune; （告诉她，那些财富都是虚无缥缈无常的；）
2、To die, even when they to perfection grow.（及时她们现在臻于完美，将来也是要死亡的。）
词汇学习：
giddily：眼花地；头晕地；轻率地
例句：She swayed giddily across the dance floor.（她飞快地飘过舞池，看得人眼晕。）
名男人No.2：Benjamin Franklin（富兰克林）
讨论话题：努力生活 创造自我价值（材料选自《穷理查德年鉴》）
富兰克林的时代，美国刚开始积累财富，人正处于一个全民努力，创业，奋斗时期。他一生最真实的写照是他自己所说过的一句话——“诚实和勤勉，应该成为你永久的伴侣。”
1、But dost thou love life, then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of, as Poor Richard says. （你热爱生命吗？那就别浪费时间，因为生命是由时间组成的。）
2、God helps them that help themselves.（自助者天助之。）

梭罗的时代，人们的物质生活已经有了一定的积累，所以才会有这么一个矫枉过正的过程。
Why should we live with such hurry and waste of life? We are determined to be starved before we are hungry. Men say that a stitch in time saves nine, and so they take a thousand stitches today to save nine tomorrow. （我们为什么要活得那么匆匆忙忙？在还没感觉到饥饿之前我们就认定自己会挨饿。人们常说及时一针顶九针，于是他们今天就补上个一千针以省去明天的九针。）
