2021年12月18日六级听力考试解析

 

本次六级听力话题较四级听力复杂得多,涉及职场,地区经济,新书座谈,工业品包装,职场面试,孩童教育和人际交流等这几个话题。男子英音,女子美音。语速适中,题目难度适中,出现一些较难听懂的词汇,如,catastrophe(灾难),constrained(受约束的),counterfeit(仿品),encyclopedia(百科全书),distill(蒸馏),elaborate(详尽的),hinder(妨碍),deficit(缺失),gadget(小玩意), self-sustain(自我驱动),balloon(激增)等。

本次六级听力题目多数要求学生对自己听到的信息进行理解加工,看选项时能够做到同义替换,对学生词汇量的考察,归纳总结能力以及理解能力都有很大的考验。

主要出题点如下:

1. 文章开头。例如,短文1,Question 9:What does the passage say appears in almost all ads for Coca Cola?(这段短文提到,是什么出现在几乎所有的可口可乐广告中?)的答案来自文章开头第一句:Whether it's in the hands of animated polar bears, or Santa Claus, there's one thing you'll find in nearly all ads for Coca Cola - the characteristic glass bottle.(无论它是在动画北极熊手中,还是在圣诞老人手中,有一样东西你会在几乎所有的可口可乐广告中找到--标志性的玻璃瓶。)再如,短文2,Question 12:What does research show about a conversation between strangers?(关于和陌生人交流,这项研究告诉我们什么?)答案来自文章开头第一句:Research shows that a few moments of conversation with a stranger creates a measurable improvement in mood. (研究表明,与陌生人交谈片刻就能在情绪上产生显著的改善。)

2.提示词。例如,短文2的Question 14:Why does a negative encounter with strangers stick in one's memory?(为什么和陌生人之间不愉快的相遇经历会一直留在记忆里)的答案句——You may occasionally have a negative encounter that might stick in your memory. This is because the human brain is biased to dwell on negative events,(你可能偶尔会有一段不愉快的偶遇经历留在你的记忆中。这是因为人的大脑偏向于停留在负面事件上),存在明显的相似描述negative encounter;又如,演讲1,Question 16:What does the speaker say about the economy of the Caribbean islands?(关于加勒比群岛的经济,作者说了些什么?)答案所在句——The Caribbean islands are divided into two worlds, a rich one, and a poor one. This tropical region's economy is based mainly on farming.(加勒比岛分为两个世界,一个是富裕的世界,一个是贫穷的世界。这个热带地区的经济主要以农业为基础。),提示词economy.

 

主要考点如下:

1. 细节定位。例如,长对话1的Question 2:What happened to David on his way back from the hospital? (David从医院回来的路上,发生了什么?),对应的答案And on the way back from the hospital, I slipped on some ice and fell(在从医院回来的路上,我滑倒了并摔到在冰面上。);又如长对话2的Question5:What did the man say about the woman?(男士如何描述这位女士?)对应的答案a historian who has written five critically acclaimed books about military history(撰写了五本广受好评的军事历史书籍的历史学家)

2. 主旨概括。比如,短文1,Question 11:What do we learn about the Coca Cola bottle designed by the Root Glass company?

(关于Root Glass公司设计的可口可乐瓶,我们了解到了什么?);再如,短文2的Question 15:What does the passage say the pleasure of connection seems to be?(这篇文章认为与他人产生连结的好处可能是?)

3. 原因考察。比如,演讲2,Question 21:Why should children be encouraged to keep trying when they fail? (为什么孩子在失败的当下,应该被鼓励继续尝试。);再如短文2的Q14:Why does a negative encounter with strangers stick in one's memory?(为什么和陌生人之间不愉快的相遇经历会一直留在记忆里?)
4. 信息推测。比如演讲3的Q24What kind of employees do companies like to recruit?(用人单位通常喜欢招募什么样的员工?)对应的答案出处:Managers usually love people who can self-sustain and enable growth through taking initiative, who are strong at following through their work, and who bring ideas and solutions to the table.(管理者们通常喜欢那些能够自我驱动,并主动采取措施以求进步,他们善于全程跟进工作进度,并能带来新想法和解决方案。)这句话描述了企业眼中的优秀员工有哪些品质,换言之也就是用人单位通常喜欢招募的员工。
