Currently, as a mass of reports on deaths andinjuries caused by drunken driving are all over thenews， the phenomenon of drunken driving hasaroused nationwide concern.
Drunken driving will undoubtedly give rise tosevere consequences if we turn a blind eye to it. Inthe first place, it will put the safety of drivers, passengers and pedestrians under threat by causing traffic accidents, injuries or even deaths. After that, it means a mournful waste of time and money to treat the injured and fix thecrashed cars. In addition, the irresponsible behaviors of the drunken drivers may lead to theunstabilization of the society.
Prompt and effective measures should be taken to reduce drunken driving before thingsget worse. On the one hand, it is essential that laws and regulations should be strictlyenforced to impose heavy penalty on those who violate the rules. On the other, more effortsshould be made to arouse public consciousness, such as propagating the bad influence ofdrunken driving. Only in this way can drunken driving be reduced.
Since the policy of Reform and Open in the last century, Chinese economy develops so rapidly. At the same time, the technology catches up with the world. The popular social communicational tool Wechat was created in China, but now it conquers the world and people is crazy about it.
The reason why people like to use Wechat is that the functions are all-sided. Before Wechat, the most popular social communicational tool like facebook though is creative, it has to download another software to better communication. While for Wechat, everything is simple, you don’t need to download another software. What’s more, you can pay and have the webcam with your friends. The comment that your friends give to you is more private, only the common friends can share. As it is so convenient, people say that they can do everything with a smart phone at hand.
Technology changes our life and people’s need promotes the improvement of technology. We use our wisdom and create the new things. We should be proud of us and show to the world that Chinese people are creative.
There are many theories about the beginning ofdrama in ancient Greece. The on most widelyaccepted today is based on the assumption thatdrama evolved from ritual. The argument for thisview goes as follows. In the beginning, human beingsviewed the natural forces of the world-even theseasonal changes-as unpredictable, and theysought through various means to control theseunknown and feared powers. Those measureswhich appeared to bring the desired results werethen retained and repeated until they hardened into fixed rituals.
Eventually stories arose which explained or veiled the mysteries of the rites. As time passedsome rituals were abandoned, but the stories, later called myths, persisted and providedmaterial for art and drama. Those who believe that drama evolved out of ritual also argue thatthose rites contained the seed of theater because music, dance, masks, and costumes werealmost always used, Furthermore, a suitable site had to be provided for performances andwhen the entire community did not participate, a clear division was usually made between the"acting area" and the "auditorium." In addition, there were performers, and, sinceconsiderable importance was attached to avoiding mistakes in the enactment of rites, religious leaders usually assumed that task. Wearing masks and costumes, they oftenimpersonated other people, animals, or supernatural beings, and mimed the desired effect-success in hunt or battle, the coming rain, the revival of the Sun-as an actor might. Eventuallysuch dramatic representations were separated from religious activities.
The show British Got Talented is very popular around the world, it is the original show. As it is so hot and many talented people have found their stages, its influence on other countries can't be ignored. Last night, I saw an episode of a boy composing a song with his friend, it reminded the public of the issue of anti-bully in campus.
When the boy and his friend stood on the stage, he was so shy and he looked very nice. He told the audience that they would sing a song which was composed by himself and the judges were so looking forward to hearing it. As the boy sung, the audience sensed his miserable days in his childhood, he was bullied by the higher grade students. His friend sung the part of giving hope. The judges were so touched and they spoke highly of this inspring song.
There are always some big guys trying to control the situation, so they bully others. This behavior is condemned by the public. The one who plays the role of bad guy is actually always the one with weak heart. The movement of anti-bully in campus needs everybody to care for each other.
With the gloomy prospect of returning to school, many students could suffer from post-holiday syndrome, which refers to a general feeling of depression before returning to campus life, which is caused by irregular lifestyles during the holiday.Symptoms include fatigue, lack of appetite and concentration, irritability and afeeling of helplessness.
Various reasons can account for it.But most important of all,a large number of student stend to overindulge themselves in eating, merrymaking and playing around during the holidays, which makes it difficult to adjust to their routine study schedule and life pace on the campus.
My suggestions to deal with this syndrome are as follows.First，exercising and sticking to a normal schedule over the holidays will make a difference and nip post-holiday syndrome in the bud. Besides,it pays to return a few days earlier before the semester starts. The early return seems to have kept the holiday blues at bay.
