英语高级口译证书考试

上海外语口译证书考试一直是口译类考试中含金量较高的，特别是英语口译证书考试常年获得大家的青睐。之前曾给大家介绍过英语高级口译证书考试中翻译题的汉译英部分一直保持着引经据典的习惯（传送门），比如在2018年的翻译考题中：

2018年9月

口言之，身必行之。 《墨子·公孟》

A commitment, once made, should be delivered.

 

天道酬勤，春华秋实。

Heaven rewards those who work hard, and flowers in spring come to fruition in autumn.

 

积土而为山，积水而为海。荀子·《劝学》

A mountain is formed by accumulation of earth and an ocean by accumulation of water.

 

2018年3月

The heart is the very organ generating thought.

All wishes, from the bottom of one’s heart, may come true.

Xin (heart) is the dwelling place of the sprit.

其实，不止尊重传统文化，近年来，考试也本着与时俱进的原则，题目中有许多有趣的新思路、新思想。

就比如，你知道“Art twins”指什么吗？

Ross W. Duffin and his wife were stunned to find a resemblance between a 17th-century painting of a bearded warrior in armor and Mr. Duffin when they were wandering through a museum in California.

而在19年9月的英译汉中，又出现了这样一段：

Increasingly, we feel that we're on our own. The other possible cause is the rise of communications technology, including smartphones, social media and the Internet.

我们越发感到(变得)孑然一身。另一个可能的原因是智能手机、社交媒体和因特网等通信技术的兴起。

 

But the fact is that we may have thousands of "friends" and "followers" on Facebook and Instagram, while when it comes to human relationships, it turns out there is no substitute for building them the old-fashioned way, in person.

然而事实恰恰相反，我们可能在脸书(Facebook)、照片墙(Instagram) 等社交媒体上有成千上万个“朋友”和“关注者”，但要建立人际关系时，我们别无选择，仍需要动用面对面交流的老方法才行。
