“压力大”里的“压力”在英语中用pressure还是stress呢？

pressure [ˈpreʃ.ər] 压力，表示的是施加在某人或某物上的力。

例：He put too much pressure on the door handle and it snapped.

他用力過猛，把門的把手弄斷了。

所以给某人施加压力，可以用put pressure on sb.

例：She's putting pressure on him to get married.

她在逼他結婚。

stress[stres]压力，更多的是表达压力对你所产生的反应。

有很大压力就可以用 under a lot of stress

例：People under a lot of stress may experience headaches, minor pains, and sleeping difficulties.

壓力大的人可能會出現頭痛、輕微疼痛和睡眠障礙。
