你喜欢住酒店吗？住酒店住太久也会感觉无所事事？看看《辛普森一家》中的这一集吧，原来“无所事事”的英语这么简单。

对话原文：

想到了吗？其实“无所事事”的英文说法特别简单，就是sit around，也就是“到处坐”，试想如果你在家没事干，是不是就会这坐一下，那坐一下？也就是“无所事事”。

 

其他重点：

（电视剧）一集：episode /ˈepɪsəʊd/

更新：freshen up。这里用了fresh的动词freshen。很多名词，形容词后面加上-en可以作动词，例如strength和strengthen。

开胃菜：appetizer /ˈæpɪtaɪzə(r)/。食欲：appetite

我最好…：I better do sth.口语中常用形式，动词前加better。同时这里说的是其实是go（and）check，但是口语中经常省略and。

看望某人：check in on。注意加on，check in是登记，入住的意思

适应：adjust to。to是介词，后面加名词或v-ing

房间保险箱：room safe。保险箱可以直接说safe，或safe box

密码：combination。保险箱的密码用的是这个词，也就是“组合”。因为保险箱密码一般是几个数组合起来的。
