虽然南非最大的峡谷只排全球第三，但它是全球最大的一个绿色峡谷，不是美国大峡谷那种红色砂岩。

这就是布莱德河峡谷 Blyde River Canyon

这里和桌山一样，也是个野生动植物的天堂，现在是个自然保护区 Nature Reserve

Although the Blyde River Canyon is only rated third largest in the world, it is believed to be the biggest “green” one on earth due to its lush subtropical foliage. Officially known as the Motlatse Canyon, it is a significant natural feature of South Africa, located in Mpumalanga, and forming the northern part of the Drakensberg escarpment.
虽然布莱德河峡谷只是世界第三大峡谷，但因其亚热带植被繁茂，它被视为地球上最大的“绿色”峡谷。它的官方名称是莫特拉斯峡谷，是南非重要的自然景观，位于普马兰加，成形于德拉肯斯堡悬崖北侧。
