也许你并不熟悉他，但每个纽约人都知道这个大男孩，在街头巷尾捕捉（capture）美好的Jason Polan。

2020年1月27日，年仅37岁的纽约画家Jason Polan，因癌症离开了这个世界，大到媒体名人，小到普通纽约市民，都为此叹息心碎（grief）。

Jason决定从2008年起给每个纽约人画画，从那时起，他开始画地铁（subway）、餐厅（restaurant）、街角（street corner）的每个纽约人，有时他一天只画几个人，有时画几百张，在十多年里积累了五万多张画像。

有人在买热狗，有人拉手风琴（accordion），有人玩魔方，有人在火车上看报纸，他都悉数捕捉，并用简单的线条，随性的勾勒，表现出每个人的状态。

在线艺术策展人Bekman说：

“和他一起走在大街上，就是在提醒你，不管你觉得这一天有多无聊，你周围总会有有趣的事情的。”

“To walk down the street with him is just a reminder that, no matter how boring you think the day is, there are always interesting things around you.”
