甜味的埃及酥饺:卡塔耶夫

卡塔耶夫 Qatayef 也是常见于斋月期间的美食,它看起来很像我们的酥饺,不过是甜的,里面的馅料是奶油和碎坚果。

和库法纳一样,这道甜点也要浸糖浆,看来埃及人真的很喜欢用糖浆。

Commonly served during the month of Ramadan, qatayef is a dessert of Fatimid origin and is mostly found around the Levant and Egypt. These mini pancakes look a bit like dumplings and are stuffed with cream and nuts. However, unlike pancakes, qatayef are eaten crispy. They are fried in hot oil and soaked in syrup afterwards, which gives them a shiny golden color.
卡塔耶夫通常是在斋月期间供应,这是一道起源于法蒂玛时代的甜点。这种迷你煎饼看起来有点像包了奶油和坚果的饺子。与一般煎饼不同的是,卡塔耶夫是酥脆的。它们会先在滚油中炸好,然后浸在糖浆里,因此会有一种闪亮金黄的色泽。
