# 伊斯坦布尔不是首都

一提到土耳其，很多人首先想到的城市大概是伊斯坦布尔 Istanbul

它确实是土耳其最出名的城市，但它并不是首都。

土耳其的首都是安卡拉 Ankara

伊斯坦布尔现在是土耳其最大的城市，也是最大的旅游目的地，同时也是这里历史上最重要的一个城市，因为它就是东罗马帝国的都城——君士坦丁堡 Constantinople

A lot of foreigners who aren’t familiar with the country thinks that Istanbul is the Turkish capital. But that’s actually not the case. It’s the biggest city in Turkey, but the capital is Ankara. 
许多不熟悉这个国家的外国人都以为伊斯坦布尔是土耳其的首都。但事实并非如此。它是土耳其最大的城市，但土耳其的首都是安卡拉。
