转眼又到七夕佳节，各位小可爱们准备好了吗？没有一种爱情可以一劳永逸。那些尽在不言中的心情，在任何一个爱的阶段，都不应该吝啬去表达。古今中外的文人墨客留下了丰富华丽的辞藻表达绵绵爱意，相应地，如何用英文来表达呢？

“身无彩凤双飞翼，心有灵犀一点通。”是千古流传下来的词句，在英文里又该如何表达呢？在这里，英语君选择了两个版本给大家参考。

第一个是翻译泰斗许渊冲先生：

Having no wings, I can't fly to you as I please; 
Our hearts at one, your ears can heart my inner call. 

第二个是华裔作者皇甫茹：

We have no wings to fly side by side. 
Yet
One sharp arrow wounded yours and my heart.

提到心意相通，在中文里，我们往往想到的是“心有灵犀”、“心心相印”…之类的的说法，但是在英文里该怎么怎么表达呢？

（1）Soul mates have telepathic connections.

telepathic：有心灵感应能力的；telepathic communication ：心灵感应交流

请看例句：

How did you know what I was thinking？You must be telepathic.There must be a telepathic link between us.
我心里想什么你是怎么知道的？一定是有心灵感应。我们之间一定有心灵感应的联系。

 

（2）Be on the same wavelength

这个表达源于广播术语，意思是两人或多人观点相投、合得来。其中单词 wavelength 指之声播送节目时使用的波段或频道，人们只有处于同一波段才能通讯、联络。因此，on the same wavelength，表示“兴趣相投，聊得来.

请看例句：

Despise of the cruelty，she  still believes that  she's on the same wavelength with someone.
尽管世事残酷，她还是愿意相信这世上有人与她情投意合。

(3)Have a tacit understanding

tacit:不言而喻的，心照不宣”;tacit understanding:心领神会的默契

After so many years, they still  have a tacit understanding.
多年以后，他们依然还有心灵感应。

（4）Mind acts upon mind.
Mind acts upon mind：心有灵犀一点通、心心相印。这大概是大众接受度最高的“心有灵犀一点通”的英译版本了……
例句：
