bare, naked, bald, barren

这些形容词都含“裸露的”之意。

: 指缺少必要的遮盖物。用于人时，多指身体的部分裸露。

例如：The boy likes to walk on the sand with bare feet.（这男孩喜欢赤足在沙滩上走。）

: 指全身一丝不挂，暴露无遗。

例如：Naked bathing is not allowed to this beach.（这个海滩禁止裸泳。）

: 指头上无发，山坡无树无草，树顶无叶。

例如：You look just like my boss , too except you ' re bald.（你看起来就像我老板,除了秃顶。）

: 着重缺少肥力或生活能力，无草无木，荒瘠不毛。

例如：The barren land could produce little food.（那贫瘠的土地几乎不长庄稼。）
