FDA officials say they’ve found positive samples of salmonella that link two Iowa farms to a massive egg recall. Officials say investigators found salmonella in chicken feed that was sold to both farms at center of the recall.

New York’s mayor has met the taxi driver, who was attacked with a knife by a passenger who had first asked if he was a Muslim. Mayor Michael Bloomberg says the attack runs counter to everything that New Yorkers believe.

A man suspected in 18 attacks in three states, including five fatal stabbings was ordered held without bond Thursday in one of the cases after being extradited to Michigan.

A 603-pound woman, believed to be the heaviest in Thailand, has left her apartment for the first time in 3 years with the help of Bangkok city hall and a forklift. The woman needs medical attention for a tumor on her leg.
