世博会组织者已经批准部分位置相对偏僻的特许店，在人流相对较多的公共区域开辟临时售卖摊点，以带动营业收入。

街边摊大家都很熟悉吧，尤其是大学旁边的地摊，晚上出来散步的时候给我们带来多少“淘宝” 的乐趣啊。话说，在英语里，“小摊”是怎么说的呢？

A market stall is a typically immobile, temporary structure erected by merchants to display and shelter their merchandise in a street market or other setting.
小摊是指商人们在街市或其他地方临时设立的一个买东西的摊位。

很简单，stall这个单词就表示“小摊”，那么“摊主”，也就是通常所说的“小贩”，英语是什么呢？不是staller哦，我们可以用vender，或者peddler来表达，这里我们也可以记住，vending machine就是常见的“自动售货机”，而peddle这个动词意为“兜售、沿街叫卖”，如：

The candidate is peddling his ideas to the public. 候选人向公众宣传他的主张。（注意这里有贬义色彩哦）
