Federal agents have captured the second of three inmates who escaped from an Arizona prison last month. The U.S. Marshal for Arizona says Tracy Province was arrested today in Wyoming about 60 miles outside Yellowstone National Park.

The Pentagon is just like everyone else, it has to trim spending. Defense Secretary Robert Gates will announce today that he plans to eliminate the Joint Forces Command in Virginia. It trains troops from different services to fight together.

A Christian charity, International Assistance Mission, says it has no plans to leave Afghanistan, despite the murders of 10 members of its medical aid team. Six Americans, two Afghans, a Briton and a German were gunned down as they returned from providing medical care.

President Barack Obama has welcomed the Super Bowl champion, New Orleans Saints, to the White House. In an East Room ceremony he congratulated the players, owner and coaches, and said the team lifted up the hopes and dreams of a shattered city in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
