A skirmish over a tree triggered a fire fight between Israeli and Lebanese troops. Four people were killed in the hours-long battle Tuesday. It all began when Israeli troops tried to cut down the tree that Lebanon says is on its land.

The San Diego Zoo knew exactly what to give one of its giant pandas for its fifth birthday. Su Lin enjoyed a cake of sorts that was made of colored ice, fruits and veggies, all with honey frosting drizzled on top.
