香港将在世博会期间举办逾50项推广活动

They include performances, exhibitions, seminars and promotions of tourism, design and brands, the Chief Secretary for the Administration Henry Tang Ying-yen said yesterday.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board plans to hold a series of celebrations at Xintiandi and Huaihai Road in June and fashion activities at Nanjing Road in October. Hong Kong Design Center will hold a six-month exhibition of its creative industries.

About 20 activities will be held during Hong Kong Week in October at the Expo site. Celebrations will also mark the opening of Expo on May 1 and July 1, the anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China.

香港旅游发展局6月将在上海新天地和淮海路购物区举办一系列庆祝活动。10月15日至19日，香港贸易发展局将在繁华的南京东路步行街举行大型"时 尚香港"活动。香港设计中心还将举办为期６个月的"香港:创意生态"展览，通过工作坊、展览和交流会等推广香港设计、品牌和创意工业的成就。

此外，10月18日至22日的"香港周"，将展示香港各方面的创意才能，届时世博园区内外将举行约20项不同的活动。

上海世博会将于5月1日至10月31日在上海举行。香港馆将以“无限城市——香港”为主题，展示香港和香港人的无限潜能及创意。5月1日开幕日、7 月1日回归纪念日及10月18日香港周开幕日等重要日子，馆内都会举行典礼。
