Popular Comedian Shows up in Zhang Yimou's Filming Set

Hit comedian Xiao Shenyang, who shot to fame with his debut performance at CCTV's 2009 new year gala, was caught by media for the first time along with director Zhang Yimou on the filming set of Zhang's new project.

The film, said to be a thriller comedy, is Zhang Yimou's first production after year 2008 when he was occupied with the mission of directing the grand opening ceremony of Beijing Olympic Game.

Named "San Qiang Pai An Jing Qi ", (literally translated as "The Shock of Three Gunshots"), the fictive storyline is set in some desert area during a far-back period, and it's Zhang Yimou's first-ever commercial comedy.

The comedy also stars top Chinese actor Sun Honglei. It's slated for release in the year-end film season of 2009.

Katie Holmes Thinks She Will Dance

Katie Holmes is to perform on a US TV dance contest.

The 30-year-old actress is in talks to appear in Fox's 'So You Think You Can Dance' - which sees a group of dancers compete for a cash prize and the title of America's Favourite Dancer - which would involve her doing a one-off routine.

Katie - who has a three-year-old daughter Suri with husband Tom Cruise - has been spotted paying several visits to Hollywood dance studios over recent weeks, seemingly in preparation for her appearance.

Katie's love of dance is well known. Last year, she made her return to TV with an all-singing, all-dancing part in US TV show 'Eli Stone'.

Kanye West to Tour with Lady GaGa

Kanye West has said that he plans to tour with Lady GaGa.

In an interview on the US program 'The View', West revealed that he is a big fan of the 'The Fame' singer.

Kanye West previously reworked GaGa's 'Poker Face' to produce the song 'I Make Her Say' with Kid Cudi.

No dates have yet been announced, however a representative for West says that more information will be "coming soon".

Last week, the rapper labelled himself the "Michael Jordan" of rap.
