《摇滚年代》改编自近几年来百老汇公演的最受欢迎的同名音乐剧，故事发生在摇滚风行的80年代，其中能听到不少歌手乐队的经典曲目，如邦·乔维（Bon Jovi）、佩班娜塔（Pat Benatar）、Styx乐队、Journey乐队主唱Steve Perry等。 本片将于6月15日起在北美公映。
