The first trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has received rave reviews after being released online, with fans of the boy wizard excitedly praising the explosive preview.

The trailer, almost two minutes long, features a series of huge dramatic battles between the forces of good and Voldemort's army of evil wizards.

Shot in 3D, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 looks set to be the most visually striking and impressive of all the eight Potter films, with the producers clearly pulling out all the stops for the final chapter.

Unsurprisingly, the most exciting scenes appear to be the climatic fight between He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and Harry Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe.

The trailer features a number of 'winning' one-liners which have already been seized upon by fans, including Harry's admission that: 'I never wanted any of you to die for me', with Voldemort, played by Ralph Fiennes, whispering the menacing phrase: 'Only I can live forever'.

Deathly Hallows Part 2 is set to be released on July 15 and brings to an end the most successful film franchise ever.

Since the release of the first film - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone–in 2001, the series has gone on to gross over £3.6billion at the global box office. The eighth and final film is expected to add to that figure considerably.
