Robert Pattinson has revealed a number of bizarre on-set experiences during the filming of Water For Elephants, including climbing into an elephant's mouth and using Reese Witherspoon's wig as a tissue.
The star said when he first laid eyes on Thai, an Asian elephant, he 'thought it was a good place to be'.
'She had these huge lips and her teeth were all the way at the back so she just carried me around,' he told the Jay Leno Show.
Meanwhile, his co-star Reese Witherspoon, 34, should win another Oscar after R-Patz had a runny nose while filming a love scene for Water For Elephants.
'I had a really bad cold,' said the 24-year-old Twilight actor, who plays a circus worker.
'Reese had this wig on, and literally, I was wiping my nose on her wig.'
Water For Elephants, directed by Francis Lawrence, is set to be released on May 4 in the UK.
