【剧情简介】
钱德说现女友鼻孔大得可以看见她的脑汁儿所以甩掉了她——他总是善于用这种表面化的理由来逃避真正的男女关系。
CHANDLER:Hey.
MONICA:So how was Joan?
CHANDLER: I broke up with her.
CHANDLER: They were huge. When she sneezed, bats flew out of them.
RACHEL:Come on, they were not that huge.
CHANDLER:I'm tellin' you, she leaned back, I could see her brain.
MONICA:How many perfectly fine women are you gonna reject over the most superficial insignificant things?
JOEY:Hold it hold it. I gotta side withChandler on this one. When I first moved to the city, I went out a couple of times with this girl, really hot, great kisser, but she had the biggest Adam's apple. Itmade me nuts.
CHANDLER:You or me?
ROSS:I got it. Uh, Joey, women don't have Adam's apples.
JOEY: You guys aremessin' with me, right?
ALL:Yeah.
JOEY:That was a good one. For a second there, I was like, "whoa."

CHANDLER:Heckles played clarinet in band, and I played clarinet. And he was in the scale modeler's club, and I was, well, there was no club, but I sure thought they were cool.
JOEY:So, you were both dorks. Big deal.
CHANDLER:I just think it's weird, you know? Heckles and me, Heckles, and me, me and Heckles...Would you knock it off?

2. Adam's apple:喉结
《旧约.创世纪》第3章讲到人类的起源,传说上帝创造人类的始祖亚当和夏娃,在东方的伊甸(Eden)建立了一个园子给他们居住。伊甸园里生长着悦人眼目的各种树木,树上长着各种各样的果实。
上帝吩咐亚当说:你可以随意吃园中的各种果子,只是不能吃那棵分别善恶树上的果实,吃了必定要死。这种“禁果”就是apple。后来,亚当的配偶夏娃听信蛇的诱惑,不顾神谕,吃了善恶树上的禁果,还把这果子给它丈夫吃。亚当因心怀恐惧,吃时仓促,有一个苹果核哽在吼中,不上不下,留下个结块,就叫“亚当的苹果”两人吃了这果子就心明眼亮,能知善恶美丑。
但是由于他们违背了上帝的告戒而被逐出伊甸园。从此,亚当就永远在脖子前端留下“喉结”,作为偷吃禁果的“罪证”。上帝还惩罚亚当,“必汗流满面才能糊口”
不过也有一说是正当亚当吃的时候,上帝来了,所以亚当急忙吞下去,不料哽在喉咙间了。

"Knock it off!" 是叫(某人)停止做某事的意思,有"住嘴",少来这一套的意思,
与"Cut it out!" 和"Stop it!" 有同样的意思。

住嘴!
2. Why don't you knock it off?
你为什么不闭嘴?
3. Cut it out.=Knock it off.
不要这个样子啦。
