Fans of The Walking Dead will be able to really experience what it's like to survive the zombie apocalypse very soon. On July 4th, to be exact.

That's the date Universal Studios Hollywood's immersive The Walking Dead attraction opens to the public, allowing fans to interact with zombies created by executive producer/director/makeup effects supervisor Greg Nicotero and his team at KNB Efx. Nicotero and Co. are using the same materials they use in the show for the attraction, including using the original mold for Bicycle Girl to create a version of that iconic walker at Universal Studios.

The attraction will be open year-round. It will include a mix of costumed actors and sophisticated animatronics to bring the walkers to not-quite-life.
