Julia Louis-Dreyfus locked lips with Bryan Cranston as she went to pick up her best actress in a comedy series gong at the Emmys on Monday.
After the In Memoriam segment, Billy Crystal offered a very touching, emotional tribute to his close friend, Robin Williams, who died two weeks ago.
“He made us laugh, hard, every time we saw him,” Crystal said.
“For almost 40 years, he was the brightest star in the comedy galaxy.”
And though it was his fourth trip up to the podium to accept an Emmy for his work on the CBS hit sitcom, Parsons acknowledged someone in his acceptance speech that he had never thanked before.
"I want to thank somebody I've never thanked before, largely because he passed away shortly before this craziness started, even though I think he was able to see it in his own way," Parsons said, "But my father, Mickey Parsons, he encouraged me to be an actor. He never discouraged me to be an actor, and in a career that hinges so much on confidence a lot of the time, that was a really great gift."
The highlight of Anna Gunn’s speech came when she thanked her co-star Bryan Cranston for being the “baddest and best” TV husband.
Aaron Paul didn't forget his partner in crime Cranston: 'Bryan there's not a single day that goes by that I do not miss running to work so I can work opposite of you. I have learned so much both on and off set.
