The Vampire Diaries‘ highly-anticipated fourth season is just hour away — and in get fans ready for the premiere, The CW has released a set of cast trading cards featuring the series’ major players.

CW日前公布了一组吸血鬼日记新一季主角的卡片照。

One key figure that fans are surprised to see is Klaus (played by Joseph Morgan). Last season, the original vampire tried to create his own race — in turn changing Tyler (Michael Trevino) into a hybrid of part vampire, part werewolf. In the finale, Bonnie (Kat Graham) casts a spell to save Klaus’ life by putting his soul into Tyler’s body.

粉丝们都很惊讶看到了Klaus,上一季这个始祖试图创建自己的混血大军，还把Tyler也变成了半狼人半吸血鬼的混血，在上季末，Bonnie施咒拯救了Klaus把他的灵魂放到了Tyler的身体里面。

For one, there’ll be a very steamy reunion between Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler/Klaus on “Growing Pains” — as we’ve been teased in the season premiere photos.
