The CW has revealed its fall 2012 premiere dates and it's going to be a long summer for those hankering to get back to Mystic Falls. All shows, including "The Vampire Diaries," don't premiere until October.

Rachel Bilson's medical dramedy "Hart of Dixie" starts things off on Tues., Oct. 2. It's new follow-up "Emily Owens, M.D.," starring Mamie Gummer, doesn't premiere until Tues., Oct. 16.

"Supernatural" moves to Wednesdays at 9 p.m. starting on Wed., Oct. 3. "Arrow," based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, makes its mark on The CW's schedule the following week on Wed., Oct. 10.

"The Vampire Diaries" returns to The CW on Thurs., Oct. 11 with Kristin Kreuk in "Beauty and the Beast" following at 9 p.m. ET.

新剧方面台柱剧集《吸血鬼日记》负责前导《美女与野兽》，这意味着这部翻拍剧集得到了最热门的周四晚间档期。而CW最被期待的新剧《绿箭侠》将在周三晚亮相，梅姨女儿麦米·古默挑大梁的《宅女医生》在周二晚出现。受到很多剧迷关注的《欲望都市》前传《凯莉日记》安排在季中播出，所以没有出现在此次前半季播放计划中。

备受关注的《吸血鬼日记》第四季将于北京时间10月12日早上8点回归，7月9日剧组将进入第四季的正式拍摄。
