  It's an exciting opportunity to learn what goes on behind the scenes.

  something different from a normal routine or schedule.

  改变习惯,兴趣等,更换口味

  A change of pace will probably do you good.

  to try to achieve something butfail.

  Bill always seems to come up short of his parent's expectations.
