bright, brilliant, radiant, luminous

这些形容词均含有“明亮的”之意。

bright : 常用词，与昏暗相对应，侧重形容光线的强度，指一切自身发光明亮或反射光的事物。

例如：The bright lights arrested the boy's attention.（明亮的灯光吸引了这个男孩的注意。）

brilliant : 指非常亮或亮得引人注目，多含闪耀或反光闪烁之意。）

例如：Outside the sunlight was brilliant.（外面阳光灿烂。

radiant : 侧重光线的射击，也可指像太阳或星星一样发光的东西。

例如：He is doing research on radiant intensity.（他在研究辐射强度。）

luminous : 着重指发出持续稳定的亮光；可指在黑暗中的发光物。

例如：There are luminous knobs on all the doors in my house.（我家所有门上都安有夜光把手。）
