上海市世界外国语小学境外部、PYP部2012年招生简章

　　上海市世界外国语小学是一所民办学校，于一九九三年秋开办。2007年经国际文凭组织IB验收，被认证为IBOPYP学校。现学校拥有境内、境外、PYP三个部。学校拥有规范的教学大楼，先进的教学设施，熟悉学校管理的校长和一支教育教学经验丰富的师资队伍。十多年来，学校教育教学质量上乘，培养了众多品学兼优、习惯良好、文化基础扎实、兴趣爱好广泛、具有多种技能、外语水平高的小学毕业生。上海市世界外国语小学将为学生提供良好的成才条件。为培养世界公民打下扎实的基础。

　　一、招生名额

　　2012年秋季招收境外4个班，PYP3个班。

　　二、招生对象

　　凡2005年9月1日至2006年8月31日出生，身心健康，符合小学入学条件的港澳台及外籍学生。

　　三、报名办法与时间

　　1、报名境外班、PYP的家长请于11月22日(星期二)-11月23日(星期三)（上午9：00-下午3：00）了解学校办学理念，培养目标,课程设置。并可领取《上海市世界外国语小学一年级预约登记表》（不需带儿童）。

　　2、报名境外班、PYP的家长请于12月3日带儿童根据登记表上的预约时间来校交预约登记表。交表时须带儿童所在国的护照和相关材料的复印件；一寸报名照片一张（相关材料复印件不再退回）。

　　3、学校于12月18日前发出录取通知，未录取者不再另行通知。

　　四、奖学金制度

　　学校自94年1月起，建立WFL奖学金制度，每学期发放一次，以奖励优秀学生，获奖学金的学生数约占学生总人数15-20%。

　　五、收费标准

　　2011学年境外学生每学期学费为人民币30000元，PYP学生每学期学费为人民币35000元。2012年学费按物价局核准价为准。

　　六、招生纪律

　　1、学校成立招生领导小组，集体讨论，择优录取。

　　2、招生人员拒收礼品，务必廉洁奉公、公平公正。

　　3、招生工作接受上级教育部门监管，群众监督。

　　Student enrolment into Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School in 2012

　　(International Department and PYP Department)

　　Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School，was originally set up in 1993, it currently consists of three separate departments: the Local Department, the International Department, and the PYP Department (International Baccalaureate Organization Primary Years Program). The PYP Department has been authorized to teach the Primary Years Program by the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization) since 2007. WFLPS has excellent teaching facilities. It has a reputation for its experienced teaching staff who provide quality teaching. The school has cultivated numerous well-balanced graduates who have great learning habits, based on solid foundations with various skills and good levels of English. WFL provides a supportive learning environment in order to lay a solid foundation for the pupils who are expected to become world citizens.

　　2.School Prerequisites

　　Students must be born between September 1st 2005, and August 31st 2006, have good health and an overseas passport.

　　3.Date and Time

　　1)Parents applying to enter the International Department or the PYP Department are invited to come to school betweenNovember 22nd (Tuesday) ~ November 23rd (Wednesday) from 9:00am to 3:00pm.The School Mission, Learner Profiles, and Curriculum will be presented. Registration forms for new year one studentscan be collected then.(No children are expected on these days.)

　　2)The Registration Form is to be returned on December 3rd according to the booked time on the form. Please bring your child with a photocopy of his/her passport and relevant materials, and a photo. (We will not return these materials)

　　3)Parents of successful candidates will be contacted before December 18th . If your child is not accepted into W.F.L you will not be contacted.

　　4.Scholarship

　　WFL has had its scholarship system in place from January 1994. This is awarded to students once a semester to reward effort and application. The scholarship winners account for 15-20% of the students.

　　5.Tuition for 2011 academic year is as follows : (for reference)

　　International Department      RMB 30000 per semester

　　PYP Department                RMB 35000 per semester

　　The final tuition of 2012 academic year is yet to be decided by the Price Bureau.

　　6.Enrolment Procedures

　　1)The school will set up a lead group to discuss and choose suitable students.
