11月25日:I have a headache and a sore throat.我头痛,嗓子疼。

throat:喉咙痛
例如:I'm troubled with a sore throat.(我嗓子疼。)
          He couldn' t swallow because of a sore throat. (他因嗓子疼而不能吞咽。)

11月26日:He engaged himself in painting.他从事绘画。

in:从事于
例如:They engage in the study of music.(他们从事音乐研究。)
          I have no time to engage in the debate.(我没时间参加辩论。)

11月27日:I'd like a refund on this ticket.我要退这张票。

1.refund:n. 归还,偿还额,退款
例如:He demanded a refund on the unused tickets.(他要求对未使用之票给予退款。)
          You may exchange the shirt but not return it for a refund.(你可调换这件衬衫,但不能退货。)

11月28日:The other kids laughed at his haircut.别的孩子嘲笑他的发型。
