05月27日：Keep your mind on your work.专心工作。 

one's mind on：v. 抵抗，反抗；忍耐，忍住；抗，耐
例如： They are determined to resist invasion.（他们决定抵抗入侵。）
           This down jacket can resist wind and cold.（这羽绒服能挡风抗冻。）

05月28日：My mum wakes me up at six every morning.妈妈每天早上六点把我叫醒。 

up：v. 醒来，起床；开始警觉，开始了解真相
例如：What time do you usually wake up?（你平常什么时候醒来？）
          After this great debate, I think they will wake up somehow or other.（经过这一场大批判，我看他们多少会觉悟的。）

05月22日： I had completely misread his intentions.我完全误解了他的意图。

1.misread：v. 读错，看错
例如：I misread the instructions/what the instructions said.（我把说明书看错了。）
          The driver misread an important signal.（司机看错了一个重要的信号。）

05月23日： The noise began to lessen.噪音逐渐减轻。

：v. 缩小；减少，减轻
例如：These measures can't help to lessen the existing tension.（这些措施不能帮助缓和现在的紧张局势。）
          At last the fury of the storm lessened.（风暴的猛烈程度终于降低了。）

05月24日： When he reached his flat, the sun had set.他到达公寓时，太阳已下山了。

：v. 抵达；达到；伸出（手）；够到；延伸（到）
例如：When will they reach Los angeles?（他们什么时候抵达洛杉矶？）
          Can you reach me down that box?（你帮我把那个箱子拿下来好吗？ ）

05月25日：She is the black sheep of this family. 她是个败家子。  

sheep：害群之马，败类，败家子
例如：You were the black sheep of the family.（你曾是你们家中的败家子。）
          There's a black sheep in every flock.（每一个团体中都难免有害群之马。）

05月26日： I wish I could stay longer.我希望可以待更久。

：v. 希望，想要；但愿；祝愿；企求；默默盼祷
例如：I wish I can find a good job this year.（我希望我今年能找到好工作。）
          I wish I knew more about her habit.（但愿我知道她的其他一些习惯。）
