Standard of rattan product series: Rattan products is a kind of widely-used product, which is also a major product for import and export. Now, the work of rattan standardization in our country has just started. The formulation in standard of rattan product series make great advancement in production and trade of rattan products, as well as standardization work of rattan industry. As the progress of economic integration is accelerating, the bamboo product market is also more and more internationalized. That's why the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR) encourages each member country, espcially the coordination of developing countries, to set up standardized standard in order to satisfy the need of development. The plan is to use the bamboo standard of our country as a prototype, to develop an international standard that is recognized by the whole world. It is not just a contribution to the international bamboo production, also it has great importance in advancement of open up of bamboo resources in our country, as well as amount of bamboo production. --------------------
