It was at that moment that he spotted the reporter sitting on a sofa at the other end of the lobby, apparently waiting for him. When Al first saw the reporter upstairs in front of the elevator, the reporter was with another person. Al headed to his meeting, but he had a feeling that perhaps the reporter would wait for him. It turned out as he expected. The reporter parted ways with his companion and waited for Al at the lobby. There was no point dodging it, so he might as well face it head on.
