Former Denver airport shuttle driver has pleaded guilty to terrorism charges in a plot to attack New York City with homemade bombs. Officials say Najibullah Zazi told authorities he took bomb-making components to New York last year, but flushed them down the toilet after getting spooked by a traffic stop.

President Barack Obama is offering a fresh proposal for overhauling health care, days before he convinced a bipartisan health care summit. His plan will provide coverage to more than 31 million Americans who are now uninsured and an estimate of the cost of about $1 trillion over 10 years.
 
A New York City police officer accused of a sodomy attack on a drug suspect has been acquitted, along with two officers who had been accused of covering it up. Richard Kern had faced up to 25 years in prison if convicted of aggravated sexual abuse.

And meet Giant George. According to the Guinness World Records, George is now officially the world's tallest dog. The Great Dane from Tucson, Arizona stands 3 feet, 7 inches tall.
