让•贝松介绍说，罗阿大区案例以“城市环境下的生态能源和可持续家园”为主题，总建筑面积达3123平方米，由地面4层、地下1层组成。案例的生态建筑理念，主要体现在生活空间的利用和质量、建筑的节能效率两个方面。其中，建筑材料的良好保温性能节省了大量能源：钢筋混凝土结构的保温效果好，外墙使用了“保温砖”——低辐射双层中空保温玻璃，能过滤掉部分阳光辐射。馆内安装了能源自动监控系统，室内的温度和亮度可根据外部的温度和日照自动调节。内部设计了可移动的墙壁、可改变的电器安装和计算机网络，提高了展馆的实用性。

城市灯光也将是罗阿大区馆的一大亮点。据让•贝松介绍，罗阿大区将携手其企业发展协会，负责为占地15公顷的城市最佳实践区提供道路照明，这将会是展示方案中很重要的一部分。罗阿大区馆的照明系统强调以人为本，提高公众舒适度，减少视觉污染。展馆每天都将有一场美轮美奂、时长20分钟的“灯光秀”。9月，罗阿大区馆将举行灯光专题周，届时，世博园区内的全球城市广场将上演在精心设计的灯光照明中的精彩演出，还将举行与节能、美观灯光相关的系列研讨会等活动。

此外，在罗阿大区馆正前方的广场上将建造一个670平方米的玫瑰园，向参观者展示法国最美的古典玫瑰和现代玫瑰。在玫瑰园中，不同颜色的玫瑰构成不同的色块组团。目前，这些法国玫瑰植株已运抵上海，并由一位法国园艺师悉心培育，等待着世博会开幕后的绚烂绽放。

罗阿大区馆的顶层既是厨艺学校，也是一家可同时容纳150—200人就餐的正宗的法国餐厅。法国著名的保罗—博古斯学院的大厨将在这里开设专业的法餐烹饪培训课程。参观者可以亲眼目睹法国大厨在全开放式厨房里烹饪的全过程，然后尽情品尝地道的法国美食。

罗阿大区案例自2008年11月29日奠基至今，建设进展顺利：建筑结构封顶；机电配套工程完成70%；外墙框架及玻璃完成安装；装修布展概念方案确定，部分装修布展工程已开工，预计整个案例建设将于3月31日前完成。

考察期间，上海世博局国内参展顾问黄耀诚会见了让•贝松一行，并介绍了世博会的最新筹备进展。

The Rhône-Alpes region of France will stage a 20-minute magnificent light show at its pavilion through the six-month Expo to exhibit its energy-efficient illumination system.

There will be seminars and performances centering on Rh?ne-Alpes's lighting technology and art, which is human-oriented and can help reduce light pollution and relieve eyestrain.

The system will also light up some areas of the Urban Best Practices Area covering 15 hectares.

The case entitled "Lighting Cities" highlights architecturally eco-friendly concept. The 3,123-square-meter pavilion uses special bricks that can keep warmth and filter solar radiance.

Facilities inside the pavilion can control temperature automatically according to the climate outside.

There will be a rose garden covering 670 square meters at the square of the pavilion, showcasing blossoming scenery of rose during the fair.

Visitors will also be able to taste authentic French delicacies and even learn French-style cooking at the restaurant in the pavilion, which can accommodate 150 to 200 visitors.

The structure is scheduled to be finished by the end of March.
