上海世博会的主题是“城市,让生活更美好”,恰与米其林“引领进步之道”的品牌宣言不谋而合。1907 年首次亮相的“米其林轮胎先生”在中国已广为人知。在法国馆里,“米其林轮胎先生”将和法国馆的吉祥物“乐乐”并肩亮相,两个可爱的形象将和公众进行精彩互动,令“感性城市”之旅更加趣味盎然。此外,为方便国际游客在 2010 年上海世博会期间的参观活动,米其林还将发行全新的英文版上海旅游指南。

法国馆占地6000平方米,是上海世博会40个左右自建馆中规模最大的一类。法国馆名为“感性城市”,将激活人们的视、听、闻、触、尝以及第六感,人们在其中可以获得各种感官体验。米其林公司始终引领着科技创新的趋势,为消费者提供安全、节能以及更长行驶里程的产品。此次世博会法国馆所表达的核心价值——领先的技术、非凡的创造力、高度的一致性、独特的创新、卓越的品质和果断的行动力,在米其林向中国及世界其它各地提供的轮胎产品和服务中得到了充分体现。

French tire maker Michelin became one of France Pavilion’s major sponsors yesterday afternoon.

The theme of Expo 2010 “Better City, Better Life” echoes with Michelin’s corporate signature “A Better Way Forward,” which expresses the group’s commitment to making road mobility safer, and more respectful of people and the environment.

The corporate mascot Bibendum or the Michelin man will appear hand in hand with the pavilion’s mascot Léon at the pavilion during the Expo period.

The corporation will also distribute travel guide of Shanghai in English during the global event.

The France Pavilion covers an area of 6,000 square meters and will greet visitors in six senses. Michelin, which is researching the noise reduction technology of tire noise, will take charge of the hearing sense.

France Pavilion’s partners also includes Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton or LVMH group, Sanofi Aventis, Lafarge, L’Oreal China, EDF, GDF SVEZ, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Dassault Systemes and 6SENS.
