Mom:Sally, when wearing a skirt, you must sit with your legs closed.
Sally:But why? I never sit that way.
Mom:That's because you're always wearing pants.
Sally:1)No fair. Billy can do whatever he wants with his legs.
Mom:Billy's a boy, and you're a girl. And I don't want you two 2)arguing.
Sally:Well, he always starts it.
Mom:If he starts an 2)argument, you let me 3)take care of him.
Sally:Mommy. I think somebody just rang the 4)doorbell.

妈妈叫莎莉进厨房

妈咪:莎莉,穿裙子时,要双腿并拢坐着。
莎莉:但为什么?我都不是那样坐的啊。
妈咪:那是因为妳都穿裤子。
莎莉:不公平。比利要怎么放他的脚都可以。
妈咪:比利是男生,而妳是女生。我不想看到你们两个争吵。
莎莉:哼,都是他起的头。
妈咪:如果他开始跟妳斗嘴,妳就让我来处理。
莎莉:妈咪。我觉得有人刚刚按了门铃。

1) No fair. 不公平。
2) argue (v.) 争论,argument (n.) 争论
3) take care of someone 照顾某人,在此指「料理某人」
4) doorbell (n.) 门铃
