A: Get out! I'm gonna puke. Ew! I
think I broke the school record for the mile. I ran all the way to the
grocery store and back in 15 minutes, and that is counting the weird,
awkward stare I got from the old lady that rung all that stuff up.
B: Why are you two taking a test?
A: They're for you. I hope you drank enough water. Don't use it all on the first one. We wanna make absolutely sure.
C: I think the only way to be absolutely sure is if you go see a doctor.
B: I don't have that kind of doctor. All I have is a pediatrician. Do you guys mind?
A/C: Oh. Here you go.
B: Thank you.
A/C: Welcome.
......
B:Life stinks.
A: Well, it's kinda funny considering we're in a bathroom.
C: Well, what are we gonna do?
B: We?
C: Amy, we're in this with you. We're there for you, and anything you want us to do, we'll do it.
A: Yeah. Just...what do you want us to do?
B: I don't think there's anything anybody can do, Madison. I mean, I'm the one who's pregnant. My God. Can't believe I'm old enough to use the word "pregnant" in a sentence, much less actually be pregnant.
1. 【puke】呕吐。这是第一处幽默，试图将大家迅速赶出厕所，这是个不错的借口，然后在厕所门口悬挂自制的警示标语，就真是青春无敌啦。（貌似青春片中的很多密谈似乎都发生在厕所里）

3. 【-Life stinks.-Well, it's kinda funny considering we're in a bathroom.】stink v.发臭，这里用来形容"生活"，意在抱怨人生糟透了，并非取其字面意思。而"考虑到我们是在厕所里，这句话变得更有趣"，是说，如果按照字面意思，说"人生臭烘烘的"也正好符合当时的场景。这是本段的第三处幽默。
4. 【Can't believe I'm old enough to use the word "pregnant" in a sentence, much less actually be pregnant.】to use the word "pregnant" 14岁的女孩子说怀孕这个词都是奢侈，更何况( to ) be pregnant怀孕就更加less actually不真实了。低潮时需要自嘲，这就是一例。
