《邪恶力量》第一季第十二集讲述了信我永生的故事。

迪安和一头妖怪搏斗时使出霹雳咒，不过迪安也不幸触电，心脏受了重损，只剩下一个月可活了。
一位牧师声称自己可以起死回生，并且也确实治愈了迪安。 然而，镇上一个健康的年轻人因心脏病突发去世了，他咽气的时候正是牧师治愈迪安那一刻。
兄弟俩他们发现每当牧师治愈一人，小镇上总会有一名原本健康无恙的居民猝死。他们怀疑，牧师一定和传说中有能力以一命换一命的死亡使者“收割者”有什么瓜葛。
原来有这种罪恶能力的是牧师的妻子。她本想杀死兄弟俩，却被法术反噬。兄弟俩捣毁了祭坛，从此牧师失去了起死回生的能力。

 

这首插曲和这集的主题很相近。

《Don't Fear The Reaper 不要害怕死神》这首插曲并不像寻常的摇滚歌曲，需要唱的声嘶力竭。
