莉顿.梅斯特（Leighton Meester）的才能不仅表现在绘声绘色地演绎出了《绯闻女孩》(Gossip Girl’s)中的富家千金布莱尔.沃尔多夫(Blair Waldorf)，还表现在她在音乐上的天赋，这个多才小姑娘昨天推出了自己的第二支单曲《Somebody To Love》。

之前莉顿以一曲与眼镜蛇飞船合作的单曲《Good Girls Go Bad》小试歌喉，一举获得MTV大奖，昨天她又借势推出自己的又一支单曲。

莉顿最先尝试自己独立完成歌曲的录制，后来罗本热情加盟，为歌曲增色不少，她说：“我的确是希望做一些与当下广播里放的歌曲完全不一样的音乐，比如既动感欢快，但又动中有静，能让人感到放松、平静而略带性感。”

歌曲的灵感源于她的生活，她有感而发说道：“这首歌当然表达了我的生活状态，你疯狂、你忙碌、你年轻、你东奔西跑，但是却很难找到一个可以爱的人，人们喜爱你但你却不能真正地去爱他们。”小小年纪的她，竟有如此感悟。

此外，对于《绯闻女孩》第三季Lady Gaga的客串，以及外界流言纷纷的三人激情戏，Mester在采访中却是守口如瓶，显得十分神秘。看来要得知后面的剧情，就得耐心等待自己去看了哦。

Leighton called Ryan Tuesday to world premiere the song, and joked the name "Somebody to Love" was a tamer version of the original title involving a particular four letter word.

Leighton also told us she got Robin Thicke to jump on the record a couple months after she had initially recorded it.

"I really wanted to make something that's completely different from anything that's on the radio right now," said Leighton. "I feel like it's really dancy and fun, but it's still laid back and relaxed and moody and sexy."

The song hits home for many young adults as Leighton explains, "it's definitely about what's going on in my life and I think anybody can relate. You're crazy, you're busy, you're young and you're running around and it's really hard to find somebody to love. People love you but you don't really love them."
