今年似乎真的是娱乐圈的结婚年，霍建华和林心如，陈妍希和陈晓，结婚的情侣一对儿接一对儿。而我们的另一位女神，在9月3日，宣布自己嫁给了与她相识20年的冯德伦。

那么，今天我们就来看看与“结婚”有关的一系列的英语表达吧！首先，“结婚”用英语怎么表达呢？

（1）get married

marry
是表示嫁或娶的意思，它是一个及物动词，必须要加宾语。例如“我要娶她”就是
I will marry her.

注意：

I will get married.
是指我“将来”想结婚。

如果你已经计划好要结婚，你就要说：

I'm going to get married. 或者 I'm getting married.”
指的是我“要”结婚了，新娘已经选好了，而且婚礼在近期内就要举行了。

那么“结了婚”就可以说：

We were married
或是
We got married.
这二种都很常用。

要是你说I want you to marry me.就是“我希望你嫁/娶我”

（2）Get hitched .

本意是指车辆后的拖钩，用

get hitched
表示两个人从此牵在了一起,这么是不是很生动呢？

 

（3）Tie the knot

据说来历是因为婚床上的帐子必须用打结的绳子才能支起来，那“打个结”和结婚有什么关系？

A very old type of wedding ceremony involved tying a knot to symbolize the joining of the couple's lives and now “tie the knot” has become a synonym for marriage.
在以前的结婚典礼上要打结，表示新郎新娘的生活从此结合在一起。因此才会用tie the knot 来表示结婚。

 

（4）Walk down the aisle .

Aisle
是指婚礼礼堂宾客之间的走廊，走过这段路就到了举行婚礼仪式的地方了。
注意噢，aisle这个词很容易读错，s是不发音的哦。

关于舒淇女神和冯先生的婚礼举行得如此突然，大家便纷纷猜测舒淇是否怀孕了。但人家可是发表声明没有怀孕。

So, it’s not a shotgun wedding.
中文里的“奉子成婚”，“先上车后补票”在英语里就叫]“shotgun.”Shotgun的意思是霰弹枪。

shotgun wedding，military wedding 
原指女方拿枪逼男方结婚，如今指因为怀孕而被迫结的婚。

但是，我们还是愿意相信，所有的婚姻的结合，是因为爱。

 

那一般来说，作为男方，是如何向你爱的女孩求婚呢？

英剧《唐顿庄园》里经典一幕——

Mr.Matthew: You’ve lived your life and I 've lived mine.And now it's time we lived them together.
我们已经一直各自生活，我们今后应该一起过活了。

Lady Mary：Please don't take me there again unless you're sure.
如果你不确定的话，请不要引导我那样想

Mr.Matthew:I’m sure.
我确定！

Lady Mary则继续傲娇加万分谨慎！

Lady Mary：You must say it properly.I won't answer unless you kneel down and everything!
你必须严肃地说出来。除非你跪下求婚，否则我可不会答应你。(哎呀，女方都说到这份上了，咱们的男同胞赶紧下跪求婚呀，还等什么呢！)

Mr.Matthew: Lady Mary Crawley, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?

那答案当然是

“ Yes！”
我愿意啦！

接下来，就应该举行婚礼了。

现在中国有越来越多的年轻人趋向于西方式的婚礼。教堂婚礼的重头戏就是由牧师带领两位新人作结婚誓言 （wedding vows）.

那么这段话用英文是怎么说的呢？

情景重现:
（婚礼主持）：

I think it's time for the wedding to begin.
好，时间差不多了。

All right, ladies and gentleman. Please take your place.The wedding ceremony is about to begin.
好，女士们，先生们。请各就各位，婚礼马上就要开始了。

（婚礼进行曲响起，圣洁的婚礼正式开始）

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in holy wedlock.
大家好，我们今天在这里出席这位男士和这位女士的神圣的婚礼。

Do either of you have any reason why you should not legally be joined in marriage?
请问你们俩彼此当中的哪一位，有谁有什么理由认为你们的婚盟不合法吗？

好，（新娘正式姓名），你愿意接受（新郎正式姓名），作为你的合法丈夫吗？

The rings, please.
请交换结婚戒指。
　　

The two rings should be put on the Bible held by the Judge. Then the bridegroom take one up and puts it on the bride's finger. The bride take the other one up and puts it on the bridegroom's finger.
两枚婚戒被放到《圣经》上。新郎把其中一枚为新娘戴到她的手指上。然后新娘把另一枚为新郎戴到他的手指上。

You may kiss the bride now, (the full name of bridegroom).
你现在可以亲吻你的妻子了，（新郎正式姓名）。

上面看的是其中一个版本，而我们最耳熟能详的神父说的“你愿意让她成为你的妻子/丈夫，爱她/他、照顾她/他无论疾病、痛苦……”那段话是这样讲的：

(Bride's Name/Groom's Name), do you take (Groom's Name/Bride's Name) for your lawful wedded husband/wife, to live together after God's ordinance, in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love, honor, comfort, and cherish him/her from this day forward, forsaking all others, keeping only unto him/her for as long as you both shall live?
新娘/新郎，你愿意让他/她成为你的合法丈夫/妻子，正如上帝之神圣命定，从今以后爱着他/她，尊敬他/她，安慰他/她、珍爱他/她，并且在你们有生之年不另作他想，不离不弃，忠诚对待他/她吗？

埃克斯阿尔曼说“对待自己温柔一点，你只不过是宇宙的孩子，与植物、星辰没什么两样。”
