As for getting into the club, even if Doug could skip the line by getting in right when the establishment opened, or when it was close to its closing time, it would still be difficult for him to get to the manager's office. There would just be too many people around, be it staff or customers, not to mention the club manager might actually be on site. After staking out the place for a while, Doug would not identify the manager's schedule. Perhaps there was none and he just did as he pleased.
