On top of the selling point of trendy ingredients, it was good to push out the menu as a set, with variations on the same theme. When there are several options to choose from in the specialty drinks menu, people tended to order more than one since they would want to have a taste of what was new, as well as to see if the drink tasted the way they imagined. To promote these specialty drinks, Hodge would hire a photographer to take professional photographs to be printed on advertising flyers.
