He stayed in the tree, scarce daring to breathe, while the moon crept slowly across the black sky. Finally, his musclescramping and his fingers numb with cold, he climbed down.
月亮缓缓爬过漆黑的天幕，但他依旧留在树上，吓得大气也不敢出。最后，他驱动抽筋的肌肉和冻僵的手指，爬回树下。
scarce文学词，指几乎不。He could scarce believe what he saw. 他几乎不能相信他所见到的。
daring，原形dare, 动词的现在分词表伴随的用法。
crept，原形是creep, 指行动缓慢而安静。
cramping，原形是cramp，指肌肉痉挛，抽筋，肌肉紧绷。
numb，麻痹失去知觉。老友记中Ross在组装家具时久蹲腿麻，说了句I cannot feel my legs. 如果要换个说法就是My legs are so numb I could hardly feel.
【阿天提示】表达是多样的，如果有自己不会的表达，尝试换个说法。多多积累运用，才能更顺畅的表达。
提示，原文的cramping 和numb又都是独立主格形式。前一种是动词的分词，后一种是形容词。

罗伊斯的尸体面朝下倒卧在雪地里，一只手臂朝外伸出，厚重的貂皮披风被砍得惨不忍睹。见他命丧于此，才发现他原来有多年轻，不过是个大孩子罢了。
outflung，这个词非常生僻，指胳膊伸向一侧而不是收紧放在胸前或枕在脑后。
Lying dead like that, you saw how young he was. A boy. 句子简洁就是美，寥寥几笔便写出了Royce死的壮烈，年轻的生命就此逝去。
He found what was left of the sword a few feet away, the end splintered and twisted like a tree struck by lightning. Will knelt, looked around warily, and snatched it up. The broken sword would be his proof. Gared would know what to make of it, and if not him, then surely that old bear Mormont or Maester Aemon. Would Gared still be waiting with the horses? He had to hurry.
他在几尺外找到断剑的残骸，剑身像遭雷击的树顶支离破碎。威尔弯下腰，小心翼翼地环顾四周之后才把剑捡起来。他要拿这柄断剑当证物，盖瑞会知道该怎么做。就算他不知道，“熊老”莫尔蒙或伊蒙学士也一定有办法。盖瑞还守着马匹等他回去么？最好加快脚步。
splintered,原形是splinter，意思是大的物体或组织分裂成两个或者以上的小的部分。原文是指支离破碎的状态。
超级英雄忍者神龟（Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles）中那个老鼠师傅的名字就是Splinter。
另外Tom Clancy系列动作游戏细胞分裂的英文名就是Splinter Cell
twisted,原形twist，扭曲，缠绕
knelt,原形是kneel, 意思是跪着，跪下。
warily,谨慎小心地，注意危险避免麻烦，相当于carefully, cautiously。warily本身很生僻。
snatched，原形snatch，一把抓起、攥住，相当于grab，但往往是使用暴力强力夺取。
Would Gared still be waiting with the hourses? 过去进行时，结构是would be doing
