世博网6月13日消息：由上海市人民政府侨务办公室、上海市人民政府新闻办公室、上海世博会事务协调局等共同主办的“城市，让生活更美好”迎世博摄影大赛，日前在上海游艇会举行了盛大的开拍仪式，来自上海各界的摄影专家、专业和业余的摄影工作者与爱好者约近200人参加了此次开拍仪式。

本次大赛将通过参与者的独特视角，全方位、多视角地记录城市多元文化生活、城市科技的创新、城市社区的重塑以及城市和乡村的互动等，大赛还加入了少儿摄影比赛环节。据悉，活动主办方还将组织摄影家去各地进行采风。整个活动并将通过网络等不同形式媒体平台将比赛传送到世界各地，对城市多元文化的融合进行多角度的记录和反映。

Expo Shanghai organizer has launched an Expo photo contest recently in Shanghai.

The contest was organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the Information Office of Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.

About 200 photographers and amateur shutterbugs participated in the launching ceremony on Wednesday.

The contest will mainly focus on topics such as urban life, science and technology, communities’ renovation and interaction between urban and rural areas.

Children can also take part in the children's section of the contest.

The entries to the contest will be published online and through other media to reach the world.
