36-year-old English actor Jude Law will perform the famous tragedy by William Shakespeare until August 22. Since the opening of the play, Jude has received mostly praises for his performance as the mentally anguished Hamlet.

Matt Wolf of the New York Times lauded his performance as being “fierce-eyed, charismatic” and “gestural.”

Variety’s David Benedict said, “The revelation of Law’s performance is the dynamic connection between mind and expressive body.”

Christopher Hart of the London Times was mostly reserved in his praise for Jude but added, “Law’s delivery is excellently crisp and clear, full of sibilant articulacy.”
