林肯公园是新世代的音乐顽童，无门无派，嬉笑怒骂游走于各门各派之间，博采众家之长，尽情炫出E时代音乐风情，不经意间，首张大碟《Hybird Theory》狂卖1500万张，销量惊人。终成大器的Linkin Park在世界范围内狂掀阵阵Linkin热浪，引发一场场“时尚风暴”。也因为乐队成员的亚裔血统而使亚洲不甘人后的新一代青年发现自身力量，冲锋陷阵于世界时尚的最前沿。Linkin Park带给我们的不仅仅是混合的音乐、前卫的时尚，在他的身后是新世代年轻人自由、博大、包容的精神世界。

乐队名称：Linkin Park(前身为XERO，曾用Hybrid Theory)，音译为“林肯公园”(意译“联合公园”)。所属国籍是美国，1996年组建，惯长风格是Alternative Metal(另类金属)、Post-Grunge(后车库)、New metal(新金属)、 Rap-Metal(说唱金属) 。吉他手布莱德说：“大家对我们最大的误解就是以为我们只是个摇滚乐队，我们认为我们的音乐是由很多类型交错而成的，一种伴着我们六个人成长的综合体。”这个想法体现于首张专辑名《混合理论》，林肯公园认为“混合理论”就是乐队努力的目标。乐风融入重金属的另类摇滚、嘻哈节奏、炫丽的电子乐，成为了摇滚乐e世代的精神堡垒。
Iridescent（彩虹）是林肯公园第4部专辑《A Thousand suns》中的12首歌,2011年4月被定为电影《变形金刚3》的主题曲，并将重新拍摄MV。
在林肯公园的官方网站上，乐队发表了一份声明，该声明中写道：“《Iridescent》这首歌曲在我们的现场表演中是观众最喜欢的歌曲之一，所以我们很高兴导演Michael Bay能够使用我们的这首歌曲。”
《Iridescent》收录在林肯公园《A Thousand Suns》专辑中。在前两集的变形金刚系列电影中，分别使用了林肯公园的《What I've Done》和《New Divide》作为主题曲。迈克尔.贝在接受采访时说：“上两集的变形金刚电影当中所使用的都是林肯公园乐队的畅销单曲，《Iridescent》也会获得同样的成功。”
