来自澳大利亚Newcastle的Firekites，最初只是Tim McPhee和Rod Smith两人在2005年的lo-fi、acoustic、guitar事业罢了，但后来随着他们的听众的逐步增多，他们便开始制作第一张完整的唱片，终于在2008年完成并取名为《The Bowery》。现在的Firekites已经扩大到了五位成员，包括主唱Tim Mcphee，吉他手Rod Smith，小提琴手Jason Tampake，女声Pegs Adams，以及鼓手Ben Howe。他们的音乐有着非常独到的地方，无论是唱片封套，还是你所听到的，低保真的粗糙感都会让你在第一时间体会到他们的温暖和恬静。(来源网络）
