《越狱》的制片人Matt Olmstead今日聊到《越狱》大结局，在之前的基础上更深入地讲了兄弟俩的关系和迈克、莎拉的感情归属。
他说：“我们第一次让迈克和林肯分道扬镳，这是千真万确的兄弟反目。这一路坎坷走来，林肯只想让他所爱的人安然无恙，能够平静地过日子。最终他选择扮演一个英雄。他所想到的基本都是明哲保身，以及如何让他的儿子、他的女友和迈克一切平安。”
而同自己的狱医爱人莎拉重逢的迈克心中却有复仇的火焰。
“迈克和莎拉却依旧立场坚定斗志强。‘我们不能够就这么半途而废，这一路赴汤蹈火走到这里，我们必须把公司打垮，因为这才是正确的选择。我们不能无视自己亲眼所见、亲身经历过的这一切，远远走开，面朝大海，春暖花开，内心却深知世上存在着何等的恶人，掌控着世间万物，使得生灵涂炭。’”

Matt Olmstead chatted with the Boston Herald, expanding on some earlier statements.
“For the first time, we have Michael and Lincoln at odds, and it very much is brother against brother,” Olmstead said. “After all they’ve been through, Lincoln just wants to have loved ones safe and to get on with their lives. He’s done trying to play hero. He’s thinking much more in terms of self-preservation and what’s right for this son and his girlfriend and for Michael.”
But Michael, reunited with his prison doctor lover, Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies), has vengeance in mind.
“Michael and Sara are still of the mind, ‘We’re not going to renege on this pact we made, which is, come hell or high water, we’re going to bring down the Company, because it is the right thing to do. What we’ve seen and experienced, we can’t just walk away from that and go live on the beach, knowing that this entity thrives and hurts people and controls things,’ ” Olmstead said.
